Get Your House Ready For Sale

Clean Up
The simplest thing you can do is tidy the place up a bit - and don't forget the front of the house. The view from the curb is the first thing a prospective buyer will see, and therefore very important.

Clutter
Put that stuff away! A cluttered house or yard looks smaller than one which has all the toys, dishes and books put away.

Focus Improvements on Payback
If you want to invest a little time and money into improving your home, stick to those items that will pay for themselves. That's why paint is on everyone's list - it's relatively cheap but can greatly improve the house's appearance.

Bright and Cheery
Turn on some lights and open the shades to let the sun in. Everyone appreciates a bright and cheery space.

Put Out the Dog
When it's time to show the house, give Fido the day off. You love your dog and he wouldn't hurt anyone but he might distract people interested in seeing your home.
